No Data Corruption & Data Integrity
Find out what ‘No Data Corruption & Data Integrity’ suggests for the info as part of your hosting account.
Data corruption is the damage of data due to various hardware or software problems. When a file is corrupted, it will no longer work as it should, so an app will not start or will give errors, a text file shall be partially or entirely unreadable, an archive file will be impossible to open then unpack, etc. Silent data corruption is the process of data getting harmed without any acknowledgement by the system or an administrator, which makes it a significant problem for website hosting servers as fails are very likely to occur on larger in size hard disk drives where significant volumes of information are kept. In case a drive is a part of a RAID and the info on it is replicated on other drives for redundancy, it is very likely that the bad file will be treated as a good one and it'll be copied on all the drives, making the harm permanent. A huge number of the file systems that run on web servers these days often cannot discover corrupted files right away or they need time-consuming system checks during which the server is not operational.

No Data Corruption & Data Integrity in Hosting
We guarantee the integrity of the information uploaded in each and every
hosting account which is made on our cloud platform as we use the advanced ZFS file system. The aforementioned is the only one which was designed to prevent silent data corruption via a unique checksum for every single file. We'll store your info on a number of NVMe drives that work in a RAID, so the same files will be present on several places at once. ZFS checks the digital fingerprint of all of the files on all of the drives in real time and in case the checksum of any file is different from what it has to be, the file system replaces that file with a healthy version from a different drive inside the RAID. There's no other file system that uses checksums, so it is easy for data to be silently corrupted and the bad file to be replicated on all drives over time, but since that can never happen on a server running ZFS, you don't have to concern yourself with the integrity of your information.

No Data Corruption & Data Integrity in Semi-dedicated Hosting
If you go for one of our
semi-dedicated hosting packages, you won't have to be concerned about silent file corruption as we use ZFS - an advanced file system that keeps track of all of the files in real time. Every time you upload a file to your account, ZFS will assign a unique digital fingerprint to it - the so-called checksum. This file will be synchronized between several NVMe drives for redundancy, so if a drive fails, the other ones will take control. ZFS compares the checksum of all the copies on the different drives and when it detects a corrupted copy, it replaces it with a healthy one from another drive. This is done in real time, so there will be no threat for any part of your content at any time. In comparison, alternative file systems perform checks only after a system failure, but since they do not use anything similar to the checksums which ZFS uses, they can't detect silently corrupted files, so a corrupted copy could be replicated on the remaining disks as well and you may lose precious info. Because this is not the case with ZFS, we guarantee the integrity of every single file you upload no matter what.
